WILLIAMS, J.

The defendant, Eddie C. Johnson, Jr., was charged by indictment with two counts of aggravated rape, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42(A)(4). After a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty as charged of both counts. The defendant's motions for new trial and for post-verdict judgment of acquittal were denied. The trial court sentenced defendant to serve life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence...
