Defendant, Christopher Johnson, appeals his conviction and sentence for armed robbery. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

Defendant was charged in a bill of information with armed robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:64. He pled not guilty and filed several pretrial motions, including motions to suppress statements which were denied after a hearing. He proceeded to trial on January 19, 2010.
