After the trial court denied his motion to suppress evidence, Corey Spells, the defendant, entered a guilty plea to the offense of possession with intent to distribute marijuana under State v. Crosby and appeals the ruling. The trial court found that Mr. Spell's initial interaction with the police was consensual such that suppression of the evidence was unwarranted.
