On October 20, 2005, the Jefferson Parish Grand Jury indicted defendant, William M. Patterson, for second degree murder, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant pled not guilty at his arraignment. Thereafter, defendant filed a Motion to Suppress Statement, which was denied after a hearing on March 23, 2007.
