The defendant, Steven Willis, was convicted of two counts of armed robbery by jury trial. He was sentenced to 42 years at hard labor on each count, to run concurrently, and to an additional five years under the firearm enhancement provision of La. R.S. 14:64.3, to run consecutively to the concurrent terms. The sentences were imposed without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
