Ronald Bianchi and his wife, Peggy Bianchi, filed this medical malpractice suit against Dr. Ernesto A. Kufoy following Mr. Bianchi's cataract surgery in October of 2002. A jury found Dr. Kufoy had breached the appropriate standard of care in his treatment of Mr. Bianchi but, finding no proof of causation, failed to award damages.
