On May 19, 2007, Keisha and Jerome Avery drove from Houston to Shreveport, Louisiana, with a large amount of marijuana to sell to defendant, Nelson "Boo" Youngblood. The week before, defendant contacted Keisha and requested a substantially large amount of marijuana, 50 pounds, and 1,000 ecstasy pills.
