James Harold Mitchell appeals his conviction and sentence by the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, State of Louisiana. A jury convicted Mitchell of the manufacture of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine), a violation of La. R.S. 40:967(A)(1). After being adjudicated a third felony offender, Mitchell was sentenced to 45 years' imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence...
