On August 25, 2006, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging Defendant, Daryl Turner, with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A).1 Defendant pled not guilty at arraignment on October 11, 2006.

Defendant filed a Motion to Suppress Evidence, which was granted on May 16, 2007. The State applied for supervisory writs, seeking review...
