STEWART, J.

The defendant, Kelvin P. Wise, pled guilty to one count of attempted aggravated rape and was sentenced to 30 years at hard labor without benefits of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. This appeal raises the claim that the sentence is excessive. Because this claim lacks merit, we affirm the defendant's sentence and grant appellate counsel's motion to withdraw.
