On May 27, 2008, Defendant, Rocky Bourg, was convicted, by jury, of one count of first degree robbery, in violation of La. R.S. 14:64.1. This was a responsive verdict as Defendant was originally charged with armed robbery. Defendant was subsequently sentenced to serve fifteen years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. Defendant received credit for time served.
