Defendants, Glen Dale Nelson and Melvin Goldman, were convicted by a jury of one count of illegal use of weapons, four counts of armed robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. The trial judge sentenced both Defendants to serve 3 years' imprisonment at hard labor for illegal use of weapons, 80 years' imprisonment at hard labor without parole for three of the four counts of armed robbery, 99 years' imprisonment at hard labor without...
