The Defendant, Eric L. Hunter, was charged by bill of information filed on April 25, 2007, with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, in violation of La.R.S. 40:967. On May 2, 2007, the Defendant entered a plea of not guilty. The Defendant subsequently proceeded to trial and, on August 5, 2008, was found guilty as charged. The Defendant was sentenced on December 10, 2008, to serve twenty years...
