In this domestic violence case, defendant, Stanley Lee Reed, was convicted by a jury of attempted second degree murder and one count of aggravated burglary, and by a judge of two counts of aggravated assault. He was acquitted of a second count of aggravated burglary. The parties agreed pretrial that the jury would decide the felony counts and that the misdemeanors were to be decided by the trial court based on the evidence from the jury trial....
