Defendant, John R. Thomas, was convicted of two counts of aggravated rape and two counts of molestation of a juvenile. Defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence for each of the aggravated rape convictions, with the sentences to run concurrently.
