The petitioners, Cynthia Peironnet, Elizabeth Franklin, Eleanor de St. Marceaux and Pamela Comegys, appeal a judgment in favor of the Red River Waterway Commission ("the Commission"). The district court sustained the Commission's exception of res judicata, finding that the petitioners' claims were barred by the prior settlement of the Commission's 1993 expropriation action. For the following reasons, we affirm.
