In this child in need of care proceeding, appellant S.M.1 appeals a judgment that adjudicated his minor child, B.A., in need of care as to him. After thoroughly reviewing the applicable law and the record, for the reasons that follow, we reverse the trial court's judgment finding B.A. to be a child in need of care as to his biological father, S.M., and dismiss the petition as to S.M.
