Ted and Trudy Malant, plaintiffs in this medical malpractice action against the Louisiana Patient's Compensation Fund ("PCF"), appeal from the Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict ("JNOV") granted by the trial court after the jury totally rejected plaintiffs' demands. The Malants sought to recover for damages allegedly sustained when the doctor operated on the wrong knee. Nominal defendants were Dr. John Mays and the Willis-Knighton Pierremont Health Center...
