Defendant/appellant, Terrance M. Williams ("Williams"), appeals his conviction and sentence on a charge of armed robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:64. For reasons that follow, we vacate the sentence and remand the matter to the trial court for a ruling on William's motion for a new trial.
