The Defendant, Dwight Collins, Jr., appeals his conviction of possession with intent to distribute heroin, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966 A. We affirm the conviction, amend the sentence and remand for corrective action.

The Defendant was arraigned in August of 2007 and pled not guilty. He was found guilty by a jury on October 28, 2008. On November 7, 2008, the trial court sentenced the Defendant to imprisonment at hard labor for 35...
