The defendant, Krystal Shantelle Egan, was charged with one count of possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (CDS), i.e., cocaine, over 28 but less than 200 grams. Pursuant to a plea agreement, she pled guilty to one count of attempted possession of Schedule II CDS over 28 but less than 200 grams; there was no agreed sentence. The trial court sentenced the defendant to serve five years imprisonment at hard labor. She appeals. We affirm...
