Delta Retail 45, L.L.C., d/b/a The Lion's Den ("Delta Retail"), is a retail store that sells adult magazines and movies and other adult items. The Madison Parish Sheriff's Office conducted a search and seizure of the store in September 2003, seizing more than 9,000 items under a general search warrant. On October 16, 2008, Delta Retail filed suit under 42 U.S.C. §§ 1983 and 1988 in U.S. district court in the Western District of Louisiana seeking...
