Gene Yee, the victim of a rear-end collision, appeals a judgment that awarded him general damages of $12,000 and special damages of only one-half the bill for his hospital visit, and denied his claim for dental work allegedly necessitated by the accident. Imperial Fire & Casualty, Yee's host driver's insurer, and State Farm, Yee's own UM carrier, answer the appeal, asserting that general and special damages were excessive.
