The defendant, Anthony Glen Wilson, was convicted of simple burglary. He was originally sentenced to the maximum sentence of 12 years at hard labor. He was subsequently adjudicated a fourth felony offender and, as such, sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
