Reginald Dunomes filed a damages suit for personal injuries against the Plaquemines Parish Government1 ("the parish") arising out of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on January 30, 2001. Judgment was rendered against the parish for a total damage award of $42,003. Both parties appeal the amount of damages.2 For the reasons which follow, we affirm.
