The defendant, Ronnie Joe Brooks, Jr., was convicted of aggravated burglary, a violation of La. R.S. 14:60, on November 18, 2008. The trial court denied the defendant's motions for post verdict judgment of acquittal and new trial and sentenced the defendant to 10 years at hard labor.
