This criminal appeal arises from the First Judicial District Court, Parish of Caddo, State of Louisiana. The defendant, Calvin Breakfield, was convicted of aggravated rape, a violation of La. R.S. 14:42. He was sentenced to imprisonment at hard labor for life, without the possibility of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. The defendant now appeals.
