Defendant, John Henry Sarrett, was charged by bill of information with Driving While Intoxicated, Fourth Offense. Defendant waived his right to be tried by a jury and elected to be tried by a judge. At trial, the prosecutor offered the records of defendant's three prior convictions. Defendant, through counsel, stipulated to the authenticity of the offerings and that defendant had three prior DWI convictions, all within the ten-year cleansing period...
