The defendant, Bradley Culp, was charged by amended bill of information with distribution of methamphetamine, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, LSA-R.S. 14:95.1. After a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty as charged. Defendant's motion for new trial was denied. Defendant was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation or suspension of sentence for distribution...
