The defendant, Edward Charles Triggs, was charged by bill of information with two counts of attempted first degree murder, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30 and 14:27, and one count of the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:68.4.
