On November 4, 2004, the Jefferson Parish Grand Jury issued an indictment charging defendant, Josh Bauman, with second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant pled not guilty at his arraignment.

On June 14, 2006, defendant filed various pre-trial motions, including a motion to suppress the evidence. On September 28, 2006, defendant filed a Motion to Appoint a Sanity Commission to Determine Competency to Stand Trial...
