On August 28, 2006, Defendant, Coys Thomas, Jr., was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967(C). Defendant was found guilty at a jury trial on March 25, 2008. On June 30, 2008, Defendant was sentenced to five years at hard labor. Appellate counsel filed an Anders brief, stating this matter contains no non-frivolous issues to appeal. Appellate counsel now asks this court to review the record...
