The plaintiff, Richard P. Jones, filed pleadings claiming that the defendant, Shelly Geddis, is in possession of movable property belonging to the plaintiff. The defendant filed a dilatory exception pointing out that the pleadings failed to state the domicile of the parties and failed to designate an address, not a post office box, for the receipt of service of all items involving the litigation.
