The Defendant, Allen Jermaine Lewis, was charged by bill of information with one count of armed robbery, in violation of La.R.S. 14:64, and one count of second degree kidnaping, in violation of La.R.S. 14:44.1. On August 16, 2007, the Defendant pled guilty to one count of armed robbery. After the Defendant's plea was accepted, the State dismissed the charge of second degree kidnapping.
