A jury found the defendant guilty of identity theft in violation of La.R.S. 14:67.16. He was sentenced to ten years at hard labor, with credit for time served since the date of his arrest. The defendant appeals, arguing there was insufficient evidence to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and that his sentence is excessive.
