(Capital One), as successor in interest to Hibernia National Bank (Hibernia), appeals a trial court judgment awarding the plaintiff, Joyce Marie Perry, $30,000.00 in damages she sustained as a result of her arrest after she attempted to cash a closed account check at one of Hibernia's branch banks in Alexandria, Louisiana.
