On October 17, 2007, after a trial by jury, Defendant/Appellant, Donald R. Nelson ("Mr. Nelson") was found guilty as charged of attempted simple burglary and was sentenced to serve three years at hard labor, to run concurrently with any other sentence he may be serving. Mr. Nelson now appeals his conviction, arguing that the State failed to produce sufficient evidence to prove that he was the perpetrator...
