Plaintiff appeals a judgment dismissing her petition on grounds of abandonment, claiming that the defendants' participation in informal discussions/correspondence attempting to schedule depositions constituted a "step" in the litigation proceedings or a waiver. For the reasons that follow, we amend and, as amended, we affirm.
