STATEMENT OF THE CASE

The defendant Marcus Williams was indicted by a Jefferson Parish grand jury for the offenses of armed robbery, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated arson. He pled not guilty to the indictment on June 18, 2004. A second bill of information was filed on November 15, 2004 which contains a handwritten notation indicating that another bill would be filed and that the defendant would be arraigned on all charges.
