Defendant, D.T., was charged by grand jury indictment with four counts of aggravated rape in violation of La.R.S. 14:42. Each indictment contained one count of aggravated rape. The charges were consolidated for trial. Defendant was tried before a twelve-person jury, which found him guilty as charged on each count of aggravated rape. Thereafter, Defendant was sentenced to serve four consecutive life sentences at hard labor without benefit of probation...
