The plaintiff's husband was killed when the helicopter he was piloting crashed. She filed suit against the helicopter's manufacturer, alleging that the crash occurred when the pendulum weight mount to one of the helicopter's four rotor blades detached due to internal, composite material fatigue. The trial court granted the manufacturer's motion for involuntary dismissal, finding that the plaintiff failed to establish the existence of an unreasonably dangerous...
