The plaintiff's mother underwent a gastroscopy and dilation procedure in order to alleviate her complaint of dysphagia. After her discharge following the procedure, the plaintiffs mother began having difficulty breathing and returned to the hospital where she underwent surgery to repair a tear in the esophagus. The plaintiff's mother died after almost a month of hospitalization. The plaintiff filed this matter against the gastroenterologist performing...
