CARAWAY, J.

By amended indictment, LaTroy Gaines was charged with one count of second degree murder in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. A jury found Gaines guilty as charged and he received the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole. Gaines now appeals, urging one attorney-filed assignment of error and five pro-se assignments of error all addressing the sufficiency of the evidence to convict. We affirm.
