Defendant-appellant, William Johnson ("defendant"), appeals his conviction and sentence on a charge of possession of cocaine in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(C). Defendant filed a Motion to Suppress the Evidence, which was denied by the trial court. On July 19, 2007, defendant was tried by a jury and found guilty of the charge.
