A motorcyclist was killed when he struck a dog on a rural Louisiana highway. His children, individually and on behalf of their father, instituted suit against the defendants who were alleged to have harbored the stray dog. Finding that no material issue of fact existed from which liability might arise, the trial court granted summary judgment in favor of defendants and their liability insurer.
