OPINION OF THE COURT BY CHIEF JUSTICE MINTON

A circuit court jury convicted Quintin Danell Lackey of second-degree escape and of being a first-degree Persistent Felony Offender. The resulting sentence was enhanced from five years' imprisonment on the escape conviction to twenty years' imprisonment as a persistent felony offender and judgment entered accordingly.
