An Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) dismissed the claimant's application for benefits, having concluded that a knee injury sustained while participating in a workplace charity fundraiser did not occur within the course and scope of her employment. The Workers' Compensation Board reversed the decision on the ground that the ALJ misapplied the law to the facts and that the evidence compelled a favorable finding when the law was applied correctly...
