Appellant, Stanley Stokes, was convicted of two counts of sodomy and sentenced to thirty years in prison. On appeal, he claims the trial court erred by allowing the definition of a medical term to be read into evidence outside the context of an expert witness's testimony, and by answering a jury question during penalty phase deliberation.
