Keshia Denise Williams was convicted of aggravated battery for stabbing her long-time friend, Sandra Kelly, multiple times in the head with a steak knife during an altercation inside of Williams' home. On appeal, Williams claimed, inter alia, that the trial court should have given certain instructions even though Williams did not request them. We granted review...
