K.B. appeals the district court's order that he register as a sex offender under the Kansas Offender Registration Act (KORA) following his juvenile adjudications of two counts of battery. K.B. asserts that the district court lacked substantial competent evidence to determine, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the batteries were sexually motivated. We agree.
